You guys, I am the worst at getting out of my favourite genre. In fact, just last week, book buddy Sarah of You Should Read This looked at my GR read shelves and text-yelled at me for having so few para/fantasy books on there. I literally do not have words for how much of a fail I am for not getting to these sooner. Please, shame me into action on the non-contemporary YA front!
1. Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas | 2. The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare | 3. Princess Academy by Shannon Hale | 4. (The rest of the) Lunar Chronicles series by Marissa Meyer | 5. Blue Lily, Lily Blue by Maggie Stiefvater (and everything else by MS) | 6. Born Wicked by Jessica Spotswood | 7. Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor | 8. The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern | 9. Paranormalcy by Kiersten White | 10. The Queen of the Tearling by Erika Johansen
Do you have a favourite genre? Are you terrible at getting out of it like I am? Which of these books do you think I should start with first (I’m inclined to think ToG, but let me know)? What books can you not believe you haven’t read yet? Leave a comment and let me know!

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted at The Broke and the Bookish to highlight a top ten list related to book blogging, and to get to know fellow book bloggers.
Princess Academy is on my list as well! Hopefully I'll get to that one soon.
Daughter of Smoke and Bone is one of the most gorgeously written books I have ever experienced and it should be number 1 on your list to pick up immediately!
My Top Ten
1, 2, 4, 7, and 8 come with high recommendations from me! 🙂
Check out my TTT.
I can't believe that I haven't read Born Wicked yet! It's definitely on my radar to read soon. I hope that you enjoy all of these books when you get around to them! My TTT
I'm interested in The Night Circus, if just to see how the author pulled off second-person POV for an entire book.

We have something in common–haven't read The Mortal Instruments yet! Its on my list too. And though I haven't read Paranormalcy either, my friend had and she love it.

I'm just now starting to read YA but I have read City of Bones. All of these books look fascinating and will be going on my already massive TBR list. Hopefully I'll get around to reading some of these soon though.
Throne of Glass and City of Bones should go on the top of your TBR! Both extremely awesome books! I also need to read Scarlet! Just finished Cinder and it was Amazing!
I haven't read any f those books except City of Bones, which I personally didn't really enjoy. (unlike the rest of the world, it seems) Seems likewe both need to get reading on these books!
I've only read a few of the books on the list but the Lunar Chronicles is definitely amazing and the last book comes out later this year! Good reading!
