Top Ten Tuesday #16: Santa, Bring Me These!

December 23, 2014 / 6 Comments / Top Ten Tuesday

I’m so crazy behind on my blogging (sorry, guys), but I couldn’t miss this Top Ten Tuesday! So here, I present you with the books and book-related stuff I’m dying for Santa to bring me:

Everything Leads to You by Nina Lacour: I’ve heard amazing things about this book and the cover is gorgeous. Desperate for it!

This One Summer by Jillian and Mariko Tamaki: This is Canadian, it made everyone’s favourite graphic novels of the year, and it just sounds and looks so sweet.

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han: I liked Jenny Han’s Summer series, but I feel like this is one I might end up loving – a girl who writes letters to her crushes? That was SO ME.

The Smitten Kitchen Cookbook by Deb Perelman: I don’t talk about cookbooks much on this blog, but I really enjoy cooking, and Smitten Kitchen is one of the best recipe sites out there – everything I’ve made from her has been pretty fab.

When Everything Feels like the Movies by Raziel Reid: Another Canadian YA – it got huge praise and won the Governor General’s Award – I might just have to order this one myself because I heard about it so late and it didn’t make my wishlist. It’s coming out in April in the US!

Rifle Paper Company’s Puffin In Bloom series: Who DOESN’T want these gorgeously covered books?

Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel: This was one of those really big adult fiction books this year – I started this on audiobook but didn’t like the narrator. But I think this is totally my kind of book, so I’m hoping it comes as an ebook or physical book for Christmas!

Pride and Prejudice and Kitties: A Cat-Lover’s Romp through Jane Austen’s Classic by Jane Austen, Pamela Jane, Deborah Guyol: This is just silliness…but it’s silliness that I totally want to read during the holidays. =)

A new, gorgeous Kindle cover by KleverCase: I love my regulation purple Kindle Paperwhite one, but it might be time for a change.

What are you hoping for Santa to bring you this Christmas?! Any books on my list that you’ve read and loved? Let me know in the comments!

  2. So, this post is awesome! I am totally buying one of those Puffin In Bloom books (I'm thinking Anne of Green Gables & Little Women). And those Kindle covers!! <3 – Maggie @ macarons & paperbacks

  3. The Puffin in Bloom editions are so SO beautiful – I think they're one of my favourite classic editions and I love those Kindle covers!!

Merry Christmas 😀 I hope you find some of these things under your tree!

  4. Great list! I really need to read this new series by Han. Everybody seems obsessed with it.

I hope you get a ton of great books for Christmas. Here's my wishlist.

I still have a $30 giveaway to Amazon going so maybe I can help you get some of these books.

  5. The Puffin books! I hope they do more covers – I love them as well! And the Kindle ones too – Klevercase has some great designs. Pride and Prejudice and Kittles though… that is a very strange mash-up. I have no idea what to make of that. 🙂 I'll wait til your review!
