WOW. This cover was revealed by Epic Reads just a few days ago and I was immediately drawn in by the gorgeous, carefree cover that speaks to something a little darker. I like the fact that the characters look a bit older – kind of like Gossip Girl characters.

This is totally what this book is going to be like. I hope!

I was even more drawn in by the fact that the author has said the book is loosely based on Evelyn Waugh’s Brideshead Revisited. I love retellings, and I’m pretty into modernist writing (Virginia Woolf is one of my all-time favourites), so this is definitely one I can’t wait to sink my teeth into.
