Ok, so maybe it’s just because this dress kind of looks like my own wedding dress, but I really think the HarperTeen crew knocked it out of the park with this cover.

My fave is still the original ice blue of The Selection, but MAN, the contrast of the mirrors, America’s hair, and the grey of the lettering is just gorgeous. Add to that the fact that putting all three covers together will make the whole set a twist on the colours of the American flag, and I’m just, like, GAH SO PRETTY + SYMBOLISM: 

Anyway, aside from the pretty, I’ve been waiting for THE ONE since I finished THE ELITE – and I’m pretty sure that if I have to wait until May, I’m going to explode from not knowing what happens! If you haven’t picked up this totally swoonworthy, totally fun series, you MUST. It is unputdownable. Ignore everything you’ve heard about it and the author, and just look at it as the ultimate in princess-y, fashion-y goodness – with a nice dose of dystopian to boot.

    I've read some really mixed reviews of this series so I'm not sure whether or not to start reading it. Ahh it's so clever that the colours match those of the American flag!! I love hidden symbolism 😉 Also your wedding dress is BEAUTIFUL!!! I definitely want a dress like that on my wedding day :3

    I still need to read The Elite >__> I loved The Selection, and with The One coming out in May I'll probably be reading it soon. Perhaps closer to May so I don't have to wait as long, haha. And that cover is just so pretty. They all are.
