This week’s WoW pick is by one of my all-time favourite authors:

As soon as she returns home, her wealthy, image-obsessed parents are determined to shove her back in their mold of tedious society parties and dates that feel more like corporate mergers. Well, Hannah’s having none of it. Instead, she goes after Boone, a drop-dead gorgeous bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks. He’s exactly the kind of guy who will drive her family insane, and he seems more than happy to do so.

Yet underneath the beat-up pickup truck and well-worn jeans, Boone has secrets of his own. Hannah’s had enough of lies. What will she do when she finds out about his?


The first Canton book, ONE & ONLY had me up all night finishing and was one of my favourite books of 2013. It was so good that it took me months to write a review because…I just wasn’t worthy. It was just the right amount of sexiness, swooniness, and unique, emotional story. The girl, Tess, is all kind of kick-ass. 
And the guy…Dylan is ALL THINGS SWOON. 
I promise that Dylan is NOT a Hans, though!
This book features a character who had a significant role to play in ONE & ONLY, and believe me, she deserves a little play after the year she’s had. I’m really excited for her to have a happy ending. Viv Daniels (aka Diana Peterfreund, author of the Secret Society Girl books, and more recently, For Darkness Shows the Stars and Across a Star-Swept Sea) has mentioned on her Facebook page that she might actually love Boone more than Dylan. I don’t know how that’s possible, but I can’t wait to find out. 
Basically, I need this book in my hands right now, and I fully expect not to sleep at all when I get it (it’s also supposed to up the level of steaminess a few notches…).

    Ooh, I haven't read One & Only but I do like the sound of both of those! It's especially nice to have someone vouch for the writing because New Adult can be hit or miss. These are definitely going on my list of NA that's worth trying 🙂

    I didn't know this author and of course i haven't read book 1 but book 2 does sound tempting so i wonder if it could be read as a stand alone or if book 1 is really needed first
