Top Ten Tuesday #14: Sequels I Can’t Wait To Get My Hands On

November 5, 2013 / 14 Comments / Top Ten Tuesday, Uncategorized

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted at The Broke and the Bookish to highlight a top ten list related to book blogging, and to get to know fellow book bloggers.

Anticipated Sequels is a hard category for me this fall, because so many of my favourite sequels/series enders came out in the last two months….But I’ll give it a go:

The Dream Thieves by Maggie Stiefvater (The Raven Cycle #2) – yes, I know it’s out already, but I haven’t gotten to it yet…And you know that if I had, I would just be putting book #3 on this list because who didn’t love The Raven Boys? =p

The One by Kiera Cass (The Selection Series #3)  – my most anticipated book of 2014 so far. I just re-read The Selection and The Elite and I am DYING for The One. I must know how it ends!

Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins (I don’t even know what to call this, the Anna and the French Kiss series #3?) – oh wait, maybe THIS is my most anticipated book of 2014? Stephanie Perkins has a way with romance that no one else in YA does…we’ve been waiting too long for this, the final book in the trilogy.

Perfect Lies by Kiersten White (Mind Games #2) – more action-y, kick-ass heroines, please! Also, I loved that Mind Games was such a fast mind-bender.

Untitled (Outer Banks Tennis Academy Series #2) by Jennifer Iacopelli Game. Set. Match was one of my fave New Adult books this year – steamy and full of sports – can’t wait for the next one!

Sweet and Wild by Viv Daniels (Canton #2) – I’m in the middle of book one, One & Only, right now and guys, you are going to LOVE this NA romance by Diana Peterfreund writing as Viv (it comes out Friday!) – it’s giving me so many feels.

Triumphant by Diana Peterfreund (Killer Unicorns #3) – Speaking of Diana, can someone please tell the publisher that we need to finish this series? I know there’s no deal for it right now, but COME. ON.

Cindy on a Mission by Kay Cassidy (The Cinderella Society #2)The Cinderella Society is one of my all-time favourite, and most underrated YAs ever. I’m hugely disappointed that the publisher has dropped it, and so might never put it out, but I keep hoping.

Untitled Scarlett book by Maureen Johnson (Scarlett series #3) – same with this one – it’s possible that a third Scarlett book might not come out, but man, did I love Suite Scarlett and Scarlett Fever. Please, MJ, can I have one more?

Untitled by Lauren Graham (Someday, Someday, Maybe #2) – unlike some of the others up there, this one is definitely happening – and I’m super excited, because I loved Someday, Someday Maybe and all the cute chick-lit feels I got.

Wow, that was ten! Good job, me! =p What’s on your list of sequels that you can’t wait for? Do any of mine top your list? Can you recommend any new series that I should definitely get into? Let me know in the comments!

  1. I feel so bad, because I've not started any of these series yet – but I really want too! I have The Selection, and can't wait to read it – and I REALLY love the third and final cover – it's gorgeous – probably my favourite out of the three! I also own The Raven Boys, but have yet to start it, you're making me want to read all of these series ASAP! 🙂 Awesome list, thanks for sharing. 😀
    Happy Reading! ^.^

  2. Oh my gosh I want the first three on your list too!! They're on my wishlist! The rest I have not read although I LOVE Diana's For Darkness Shows the Stars series. I did a TTT for this topic too over on my blog!

    Thanks for sharing yours!

  3. I can't wait for the One by Kiera Cass too!!! I hate how sequels come out a WHOLE YEAR after the publication of the previous book… I end up rereading the previous book again closer to the publication of the sequel to refresh my memory~

I seriously didn't know that there's going to be a third book in the Killer unicorns series! So happy! Though I can't find it of goodreads…
