If fate sent you an email, would you answer?

When teenage movie star Graham Larkin accidentally sends small town girl Ellie O’Neill an email about his pet pig, the two seventeen-year-olds strike up a witty and unforgettable correspondence, discussing everything under the sun, except for their names or backgrounds.

Then Graham finds out that Ellie’s Maine hometown is the perfect location for his latest film, and he decides to take their relationship from online to in-person. But can a star as famous as Graham really start a relationship with an ordinary girl like Ellie? And why does Ellie want to avoid the media’s spotlight at all costs?

So I still haven’t read The Statistical Probability of Love At First Sight, Jennifer E. Smith’s 2012 sleeper romance hit, but I’ve been DYING to read it, and I’ve been assured that I’ll love it. This one looks just as good – in fact, it’s got a little bit of Win A Date With Tad Hamilton in it – which is not my favorite teen movie, but there’s something whimsical and wonderful about the whole “could a celebrity be with a normal person?” thing.
Also, LETTERS. I love epistolary novels.
What are you waiting for this week? Are you excited about This is What Happy Looks Like?

  1. I read The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight when I had first started reading contemporary. I was so very pleasantly, and wonderfully surprised. I absolutely cannot wait to read this book. And they have the absolute best covers!
