I know this is a mostly YA lit review site, but that “mostly” allows me to occasionally post some really great stuff that I love.
Some of you might know that I’m kind of obsessed with fashion. I used to be a fashion blogger for TorontoStreetFashion.com, I have an enormous wardrobe, and I’m still a bit of a nonstop shopper. I love beautiful clothes and accessories, and I love finding out about new designers (especially local ones).
This year, Toronto is hosting its first ever Fashion’s Night Out. FNO is a big shopping celebration that happens all over the world. There are parties, shopping discounts and celebrities, editors, models, and designers galore. In the past, it’s been held mostly through the US, while Canadians have jealously looked on.
Not so this year:
Fashion’s Night Out (FNO), held on September 6, 2012, is fashion’s most iconic extravaganza. Created in 2009 as a collaboration between American Vogue, the Council of Fashion Designers of America, NYC & Company and the City of New York, FNO has drawn crowds of editors, stars, models, fashionistas and designers. FNO is now celebrated through events in 18 countries around the world. This year, FNO is officially coming to Toronto! Get ready for city-wide events including buzzing bazaars and parties that will be sure to inspire and excite shoppers. FNO Toronto promises to be the city’s fashion shopping event of the year!
What does this mean? Shopping, parties, and lots of fashionable people.
This sounds fabulous! I wish I could go…but unfortunately my bank account won't allow it at the moment! Hope you have a lot of fun though! 🙂
