I’m woefully behind, you guys, and I hope you’re still with me. Between summer and baby and nursery planning, friends and family, I’ve been pretty slow on the blogging. I’ve been reading steadily, but very lazy about posting.
That’s why ARC August is, as always, a way for me to catch up and try to get my anticipated books and reviews up for the fall.
Let me just say this: I’ve only done ARC August once before and I pretty much failed immediately. But sometimes, the journey is not about the destination. It’s about setting goals and just having them, and marking time. Also, let’s be honest, am I really going to read all 12 of these books in one month? Probably not.

Are you reading any of these for ARC August? Which one are you most anticipating for fall? Which should I read first (I mean, AFTER I finish THERE’S SOMEONE INSIDE YOUR HOUSE because there was no way I was not going to get to the Stephanie Perkins book first!)?

I don’t think I’ve ever done a reading challenge and didn’t fail at it?? But yes, it’s good to set goals and try at least. I think?? Anyway, YES to this list!! I definitely got to get to that Steph Perkins book soon. And Genuine Fraud and All the Crooked Saints. Bad Romance was really good– so honest!! I hope you get to that one!
Reading the Steph Perkins now and I am terribly afraid. I’m such a chicken. It’s taking me forever to read it.
The only reading challenges I ever pass at are contemporary ones….hahahahaha.
