Personal Friday, or What I’m Reading Over the Holidays

December 21, 2012 / 3 Comments / Uncategorized

Hey everyone! Next week I’m participating in the Top Ten of 2012, so you’ll see all of my lists for this year and next. I’m also hoping to catch up on a few reviews and reading to get ready for the insane January and February that’s coming.

So this is what I’ll be reading for the next few days:

Mind Games by Kiersten White – so excited about my first Kiersten White book. Look out for a review in January!

Janie Face to Face by Caroline B. Cooney – This is a beloved series for me, and I’ve had this eARC for ages, finally getting to it!

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green – I think I’m the last person on earth who hasn’t read this novel. I’m looking forward to crying my face off.

The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith – finally, FINALLY got this from the library. Can’t wait to fall in love.

Code Name Verity by Elizabeth Wein – this is our January pick for the Toronto Forever Young Adult Book Club, and it’s been on my list forever. Liz from Midnight Bloom Reads, Sonia from The Story Queen and Chloe from YA Booklover Blog have all been pimping it for ages, so I’m really excited to read it!

And just because, here is a picture of me with my awesome fiance. This is from the night we got engaged! =)

Happy holidays! What are you reading now and through the New Year?

  1. Mind Games was AMAZING! I loved The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight! I really need to hurry up and read The Fault in Our Stars, already. And I am really rethinking my decision to not read Code Name Verity. I have heard amazing things!
